Though now several days late, I've finally made my birthday recording for Helen Howell available for free stream. It's an excerpt from Bram Stoker's Dracula, wherein our narrator first meets the world's most famous vampire.
You can listen to me voicing the hero and the count below.
*Yells* John!
ReplyDeleteIn Firefox, I see the PLAY button, but no audio.
ReplyDeleteIn Chrome, I see nothing.
In IE, I see a link to the Dropbox mp3 file. No audio.
Chrome gives an "error loading URL to your Dropbox file"
ReplyDeleteSafari loads, but even with Flash allowed, no Play button.
You put the file in your Public folder, right?
Yes sir.
DeleteSoundCloud is the absolute only thing I've found that works. There must be other options, but that's all I've come up with so far.
ReplyDeleteI listened to a bit of it when you tweeted it and I could get to the link directly. You're in strong voice -- I'll have to listen to the rest.
Dracula rocks so much. After having seen and read so many derivatives, it really was a pleasant surprise to discover how fun the original story is.
Well it plays perfectly for me on Sarfari ---- John bravo it was just wonderful and I think if I was to do Lucy and Mean's part we could record the whole book together! Thank you so much this was just splendid! ^_^
ReplyDeleteHi! Where is the URL? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid Blogspot updates have since broken the web player again. Hmm. I wonder if the MP3 is still around somewhere for another hosting service...
DeleteJohn I think I may have a copy of this lurking somewhere - if I do I'll email to you ^_^
