Book Tour Dates for The Dragon Has Some Complaints!

Thank you all for being patient with me. You’re probably aware how profoundly sick I was for several months there, and the road to recovery has been fraught. But I survived, and I came out of it with a new book. It’s a book I can’t wait to give to you.

And this July, I’ll be bringing it myself!

I’m giddy to share the dates for my first book tour in over a year. I’ll be hitting New York City, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington D.C., and Baltimore Maryland, with a special stop on the internet for people who are out of reach.

On the tour, I’ll be joined some amazing fellow authors. It’s going to be a series of conversations to remember. Conversations with wings, scales, and a safety-appropriate amount of fire.

I hope to see many of you out there. It’s been heck going through physical therapy, but seeing some smiling readers will make it all worth it. And if anything, these events have only brought me closer to the disabled dragon at the heart of this novel.

Here’s the schedule!

A reminder that signing up in advance helps the stores know what areas to setup and how much space to allot. It makes everyone’s life easier. The bigger our numbers, the more sprawl we get to do!

This tour about as much as I can manage with my current level of strength. If I can, I’ll try to squeeze one more date into the summer. I’m so grateful to all the stores for having me, and for the literary communities that have embraced my weirdo stories. It’s going to be restorative to see you out there.

And I just learned that Booklist Magazine has given The Dragon Has Some Complaints a starred review!

In addition to the tour, I get to announce another fine piece of news: I have a narrator! Award-winning performer Zura Johnson will be creating the voices for all three of my unhinged dragon’s heads. She’s an amazing talent and I’ve wanted to hear her do one of my works for years.

Preorders for the audiobook just went live on Audible.

If you need something to tide you over until The Dragon Has Some Complaints takes flight, there are a pair of sales going on. In the U.S., Bookshop.org has selected the paperback of Someone You Can Build A Nest In for their Pride Month display, and will give you 15% off with the code PRIDE26.

Meanwhile in the U.K., Amazon has selected Someone You Can Build A Nest In as one of their Kindle books of the month. You can snag the book for 99p.
